More Good News!

All of John’s counts are staying up. His platelets are over 200,000 today, Praise the Lord. This is very good news. His other blood counts are holding steady on their own. He has also been fever free since Saturday. He’s feeling a little more alert today and has been up a couple of times to walk. The Doctors are slowly removing all of his IV’s except his nutrition therapy. John has lost 18 pounds while in the hospital. He is also receiving some new meds for his headaches. They will start back with the ATRA sometime next week.

EVEN MORE GOOD NEWS! John may be able to come home by Wednesday or Thursday. They are hoping for Wednesday but are still waiting to see how he continues to respond. John and his family are excited about the thought of being able to come home. John & Lorena are with John today at the hospital; Janna will be with family in the Richmond area.

Praise the Lord for His faithfulness. Everyone have a Happy New Year!
Keep praying!

Happy New Year Pearsons!!!!
John, that's great news on the platelet count, fever, and that everything else is staying strong. And that you are able to get up to walk!! Keep it up!
Hopefully the headaches and mouth sores are better, too! I know you're ready to be at home...it won't be long now, hang in there!
You are in our prayers always!!
Love you,
Bryant, Shelli, Briana, Morgan, Matthew & Connor

Johnny - - - IU is struggling valiantly to pull out of a deep hole in the second half of their bowl game. What ya think, can they do it?

I'm thrilled to hear the good news. Please know you have people in Davis, California keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Wow Johnny - - - you're famous, I hope you'll still remember all of us "old" friends. ;-)

I think if IU had played all game like they played in the second half they MIGHT have made it a game.

Too bad - - - but hey, at least they GOT A BOWL this year.

"Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow!" God is SOOO good, is He not?! We are singing His praises tonight John, Lorena, Janna, and John(ny), for we have a mighty, loving, and faithful God, who not only hears our every prayer, but also answers them...maybe not always the way we want, but He still answers them. In this case, He is answering in a GREAT way!!! We know every hurdle is not over, but with all of this prayer going on, we'll just keep on praying. Can't wait to see all of you. You are SO missed, by SO many people. We love you all, and like so many others, are ready to "jump in" and help in any way we can! See you all soon! <:)
